We would like to thank you very much for the superb work (and not to mention the lovely lads who did all the hard work) and for being so prompt.
Removing Defective Gable End & Rebuilding with a Two Storey Extension
This project was started in February 2015 and was completed in June 2015, the works consisted of removing the existing gable wall in its entirety and a section of the front and rear walls where there had been significant movement and then the new extension constructed to provide one large room to the ground floor and one large room to the first floor with approximate external dimensions of 6.7m x 4.92m.
The ground conditions on this project were not ideal/suitable which resulted in the 2m deep foundations which had to be flooded with concrete. This explained why the gable and front corner of the building has suffered significant structural movement.
